Hi there, my name is James and Im about to become a Gay Divorcee

I’m coming up to 50, recently single after a rollercoaster ride trying to support a husband with mental health issues for several years.

I have lived and worked in Brighton for many years – and my day job keeps me there – but right now im exploring where I will end up.

Its amazing the things im having to learn – from how to divorce someone who hasnt got capacity – to navigating what it means to be gay and single in a completely different age to the one I was last single in!!

This blog will start off serious – as I’m going through some pretty serious shit – but I promised myself I would use this space to record my journey – warts and all!!
